SpecMatch™
SpecMatch™ is Gnaww's matching capability for comparing controlled print demand with controlled producer capability.
It begins after demand and capability have enough controlled meaning to compare safely. It returns explainable compatibility information such as blockers, warnings, unresolved fields, reasons and confidence.
A SpecMatch result does not by itself confirm live price, current availability, producer acceptance, a quote or an order.
Demand-level matching
POST /v1/matches accepts already validated Gnaww Job Specification v0.4 demand and an explicit capability target. Exact Recipe-eligible demand can match on a Recipe basis. Legitimate tolerant pre-Recipe demand can remain GJS-based when its semantics allow that.
Producer-universe matching
POST /v1/matches/universe evaluates validated demand across the authorised published or fixture-backed capability universe and returns a ranked safe projection.
Public candidate truth remains explicit, including source, truth state, profile schema version and whether the capability represents a live supplier.
Ranking is capability evaluation only. It does not perform producer selection or commercial commitment.
